I don't have too much to report on the past week. It was a busy one, me starting classes and Andy working blood drives with looooong hours all week. Hoping this week is a bit less hectic since Andy is on nights! I am enjoying my online classes, but they sure are TONS of work. I really am spending a good 4-6hrs a day, 5 days a week and some on the weekend getting everything done for these two classes! Now I am realizing how maybe it's the right thing for me to be jobless at the moment, so I can get a good feel for online schooling. This way, when we move and I do get back into work, I'll be used to online course work! Funny how things work out...
Our angel dog is doing well! Her potty training is improving everyday and we've had no accidents for a week, and slowly but surely she is getting crate trained. She no longer has to sleep in our room at night and we were able to leave her at home for a bit yesterday and go for a motorcycle ride and run errands! She was a sick girl this morning, but after a trip to the vet, she's got some meds and is already back to her old self. (She has a parasite, that goes away with meds. Assuming she got it since she was rescued from Mexico.)
This upcoming week we will have lots of family in town so I am looking forward to that! I'm sorry this will be such a short post but I have so much more to get done before this day is over! I will leave you with this BEAUTIFULLY said facebook status I saw on facebook:
"Thank you God for showing up in my life in the form of Buddha, Shiva, Jesus, the wind blowing in the trees, a feeling, a knowing, a friend, my husband, my parents, my teacher, Yoga....it really doesnt matter, you've been with me all my life, for that I eternally grateful."
I am grateful and thankful for ALL that I have been blessed with in this life, and that quote sums it up so well!
Hope you all have a lovely week, and take some time to reflect on what YOU are grateful for in this life!
